Last week, I got the opportunity to interview singer and guitarist Marta Gabriel from Crystal Viper. Her boundless enthusiasm and friendly charisma really made my job easy. Also, since there is now a YouTube channel affiliated with Kevy Metal, I opted to publish the video of the interview instead of making a written article out of it, simply because I cannot do justice to Marta’s character just by typing out her answers.

Our chat was long enough to divide the interview into three distinct sections. The first one, embedded above, has just been published and is mainly about the writing and recording process of Crystal Viper’s fantastic new album ‘The Cult‘, reviewed here last Sunday. In the second and third parts, we will respectively be talking about Marta’s journey as a guitarist and her various vocal approaches. Naturally, you will be informed when those parts are up as well!
